As a kid Easter didn't mean much to me. All I remember was the egg hunt, and I was very passionate about finding more than my sister. Today, when I think about passion I think of Christ our Lord. He epitomized passion when he laid down his life for us.
Last year my good friend, and fellow songwriter, Gerri Bernitt shared a song she had written many years ago called Eloi (Aramaic for My God). Eloi is the first part of Jesus' infamous words taken from Psalm 22, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" Jesus cried out these words because, for the first time, he felt the burden of all our sins on him...he was separated from God! But his sacrifice 2000 years ago means our salvation today. Amen!

Thanks to digital technology, I am able to take Gerri's music and combine it with scenes from an incredible movie that came out in 2004 to recreate the Passion of the Christ. Click Here
